Tell Me All Your Thoughts on God

On Saturday, November 16th, approximately 40 women gathered for a morning “retreat.” We heard from spiritual leaders such as Richard Rohr, Barbara Brown Taylor, Frederick Buechner, and Pope Francis. Through large and small group discussions, we shared our thoughts on topics such as how we perceive God, or times when we have experienced “thin place” moments of feeling especially close to God. There were opportunities for crafting, meditating, or just sitting and enjoying each other’s company while sharing coffee and delicious snacks. In addition, participants generously donated several baskets of food to our feeding ministry.
It was a beautiful, spirit-filled morning, that drew us all closer to God and to one another!
