On this feast day of Trinity Sunday, we celebrate the mystery of the divine Trinity, which we understand as the miraculous and holy triune relationship of God: Father, Son & Holy Spirit.

Our Scripture passage is found in the Gospel according to Matthew. Our passage may be found by following the provided link: (Matthew 28:16-20).

For continuing study on your own, reflect on these questions (found in the study guide below):

  • We hear the trinitarian blessing of God, "Father, Son & Holy Spirit" in our reading: how does this blessing of relationship in God impact our lives?

  • How does Jesus' promise to "be with his followers, always" give us both power and courage to go into the world and do God's work?

  • In these difficult days of physical distancing, how do you feel relationship with God and with others? How might you discover new ways to strengthen and nurture your relationship with God?

  • Include in your prayers in the days ahead the promise from Jesus: "I am with you to the end of the age."
