Have you ever seen fifteen pounds of elbow macaroni, and cases of cream of chicken soup stacked with other grocery items on the counter in the St. Francis kitchen?
Every second Wednesday of the month St. Francis provides a hot meal and some St. Francis hospitality to homeless and marginalized individuals at the Mustard Seed, which is on Piedmont St. in Worcester. The Mustard Seed team consists of twenty-eight rotating shoppers, cooks, and servers. Monthly bakers provide desserts to complete the meal.
Our next dinner at the Mustard Seed will be on March 8th. Dinner is served at 5 P.M. Please contact Nancy Pope if you would like to share in this heartwarming experience. npope194@gmail.com, or (508)829-5564.
