A concert was held on May 17, 2024, to benefit our feeding ministries. All who attended (90 at least), parishioners and folks from the wider community, declared it a lovely evening. There was something for everyone. There were classical, ancient, pop, folk, and acapella offerings. All of the musicians volunteered their time and talent. The profit from the evening was close to $2,200 and will go out the door to help us feed folks at the Mustard Seed and Dismas Family Farm. We were also able to donate some of the proceeds to our good friends at Abby’s House for their Springtacular event.
Our musicians: Peter Clemente, guitar; Joe Papendrea, mandolin; Allison Mondel, gothic harp and medieval sacred song; MaryAnn DiPinto, Ellen King, John MacLean, Nancy Rogers, folk song; The Heart Beats brought to us through Jena DelCid, acapella song; Erik Gladwin and his friends (including some from our bell choir) who brought us show tunes and ended with a beautiful rendition of ‘Amazing Grace.’ Deacon Jane organized the event and Erik Gladwin was tech man, sound man, song man, and all around joyous collaborator. The two made a great team!
Thank you to all who supported this event!
