As we gather for the First Sunday after the Epiphany, we will explore and reflect on the story of Jesus' baptism in the River Jordan. The Sunday after the Feast of the Epiphany is the celebration of Christ's baptism, and an opportunity for us to reflect on the meaning and importance of the Sacrament of Baptism in our own lives. What do we hear as we gather with the crowds at the river's edge, listening to John the Baptist, and the divine expression from God regarding Christ and his place in our lives? How might these lessons help us to start this new year in new ways?
