We gather on the Fourth Sunday in Lent and reflect on Paul's thoughts regarding the free gift of God's grace and the impact that gift has in our lives. From the earliest days of the Christian church, people have struggled to reconcile the teaching that our redemption and salvation depends on God's free gift of grace alone, and that our "human works" do not earn us any merit in the eyes of God. Many might ask, "then why strive to do good if faith alone determines our standing before God?" We will discuss Paul's teaching to the Christians in Ephesus, and how his thoughts impact our lives as well.

Our Scripture passage is found in Paul's Letter to the Ephesians. You may find the Scripture lesson by selecting the following link: (Ephesians 2:1-10).
